Information is used to operate protected transactions, to keep accounts secure, to support you when something goes wrong and to meet legal obligations.

Transaction information

Transaction records include the parties, the amount, the agreed terms, delivery details and activity history. This record is what a dispute review relies on.

Payment information

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. RACE does not store full card details.

Account information

Account information includes your name, contact details and any verification information required to use the service.

Section 06

How we protect information

Access to personal and transaction data is restricted to the account it belongs to and to the staff who need it to run the service. Data is encrypted in transit, security PINs and passwords are stored only as hashes, and verification details such as your NIN are masked when displayed.

If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, change your password and contact us so we can secure the account.

Section 07

Third-party services

We work with providers for payments, messaging, hosting and analytics. Each receives only the information needed for their role.

Section 08

Data retention

Transaction records are kept for as long as needed to support disputes, accounting and legal requirements, then deleted or anonymised.

Section 09

Your rights

You can request access to your information, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete data we are not required to keep.
